Guide me to the Gateway of Getaways

Life is a history of realizations, or so I speak.

Lately, I just realize that sitting in front of a PC for 8 straight hours can make ones eye blur for the rest of the day, and amass the draining of stamina. Hey, this may not apply for everyone, but I sure am putting on my anti-radiation reading glasses whenever I face the monitor, yet it has only done so little to mitigate me from being haggard too soon. Coffee suddenly become essential. Surfing the internet suddenly feels like prolonging the optical torture. I just don’t find myself very ecstatic about the idea of using the computer whenever I reach home. Meanwhile, I find myself longing for an escape to a place where I will be unanticipatingly soaked by the true greatness of Mother Nature. Nothing feels better than breathing the fresh air and looking at the skies of blue, and no amount of photorealistic rendering of the trees of green will ever come close to the sensation of laying down with the grass for my pillow. Computers feel so urban. Malls feel so urban. Cars feel so urban.

And I’m really longing for the getaway to mother nature.

Is vacation so far behind?
